The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
